About the Slug Generator
A slug is the readable, URL-safe part of a web address — lowercase, hyphenated, no spaces or special characters. Typing one out by hand for every blog post, product page, or article title is tedious and easy to get inconsistent. This tool converts any text into a clean slug instantly.
Accented characters are automatically converted to their closest plain-letter equivalent (é becomes e, ñ becomes n) rather than just stripped out, and you can convert a whole list of titles at once, one per line. Everything runs locally in your browser; your text is never uploaded to a server.
