This is a tool for adding a visual signature to a document, not a certified, identity-verified e-signature service with a legal audit trail (the kind DocuSign or Adobe Sign provide for contracts that specifically require that level of verification) — for most everyday signing needs, a visual signature is exactly what's expected. Everything happens locally in your browser using the pdf-lib library; your document is never uploaded to a server.
