Bulk File Renamer
Rename a batch of files at once — add a prefix, suffix, sequential numbers, or find-and-replace text — free and processed entirely in your browser.
About the Bulk File Renamer
Renaming dozens of files one at a time — event photos, invoice PDFs, exported reports — is slow and repetitive. This tool applies a single renaming pattern to every file at once: add a prefix or suffix, insert sequential numbers, or find and replace text across every filename in one pass.
See a live before-and-after preview of every new filename before committing, so nothing gets renamed by surprise. Everything happens locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server — and the renamed files download together as a single zip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this touch my files' content, or just the names?
Just the names — your files' actual content is never opened, read, or modified, only the filename changes.
What happens to the file extension?
File extensions (.jpg, .pdf, and so on) are left untouched by default — your renaming pattern applies only to the name itself.
What if my pattern creates two files with the same name?
Duplicate names are automatically numbered to stay unique (like "file (1)" and "file (2)"), so nothing gets silently overwritten in the final zip.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Renaming and zipping both happen entirely in your browser.
